The largest passenger railway station has been reopened!
Gdańsk Główny – one of the most beautiful and recognisable railway stations in Poland opened.
The building is distinguished by a beautiful brick façade with many renovated details. The historical character of the building was restored. The original colour scheme of the walls has been restored, the oak display windows of the ticket offices have been recreated, and the original door woodwork has been replaced. After many years, the coats of arms of the Pomeranian towns also returned to the station – they were reconstructed on the basis of archival materials.
The station has all passenger amenities including a dynamic travel information system, voice information system, monitoring system, ticket machines, clear signage, comfortable access to trains thanks to ramps, lifts and escalators. We had the opportunity to participate in the facility’s amenities and installed our equipment at the station, including Main Station Displays, Collective Station Displays, Information Displays.
