Opalenica train station officially opened!
Opalenica railway station, located on the Warsaw-Berlin line, was built at the turn of the 20th century. As part of the reconstruction, the original historical features of the building were restored, combining with contemporary forms and details of the finished facade.
The main entrance leads directly to the lobby, where our Station Collection Displays have been installed. The boards inform travelers about train arrivals/departures and any additional information, i.e. intermediate stops, destinations and emergency situations. Waiting for travel is also improved by our Announcement System, which covers the entire station area. The facility has been equipped with an NTP-based Time Signaling System, allowing precise time synchronization.
The reconstruction of the Opalenica station was carried out as part of the Station Investment Program with EU funding from the Infrastructure and Environment Operational Program.
