It realises connections to the CSDIP server, PDP, connections to platform dispatching stations and microphone desks. It also allows connection to a VoIP telephony network transmitting speech sounds via Internet links or separate IP-based networks, controlled via the SIP signalling protocol, synchronisation of the internal real-time clock RTC from NTP /SNTP time servers, and remote configuration, control and monitoring of devices via On Board Web, SSH, SNMP tools.
