Another station has been reopened and equipped with Sat-System solutions.

The PKP Olsztynek station, located in the Warmińsko-Mazurskie Voivodeship, has been adapted to serve travellers. The building is fully adapted to the needs of people with disabilities. The station’s immediate surroundings have also changed. A spacious reinforced concrete shelter was built and on the outer walls of the shelter, reliefs were placed containing graphics depicting the historical layout of the old town and gothic castles in northern Poland. The facade of the building also underwent renovation. The window and door frames, roof sheathing and all internal installations were also replaced.

The station has all passenger amenities, including a dynamic passenger information system, an audible passenger information system, a monitoring system, etc. Sat-System supplied the major components of the passenger information system, including Station Collective Displays , Information Displays, Announcement System, Clock System and SOS Paging System.

The investment was carried out as part of the 2016-2023 Station Investment Programme with EU funding from the Eastern Poland Operational Programme.
