The complete, networked HUSAR TIME unified-time system is a modern, highly integrated technological solution, based on a dedicated reference server and an extensive network of precise, digitally synchronised clocks. Designed for the highest requirements of transport infrastructure facilities such as railway stations, airports, platforms and passenger halls, the HUSAR TIME system guarantees absolute consistency and second-level accuracy of readings throughout the entire transport hub. The heart of the solution is the HUSAR SC time server, which, via the NTP protocol, delivers a reference synchronisation signal taken directly from GPS or DCF systems. As a result, all connected devices work in perfect harmony, eliminating the risk of any discrepancies in the presentation of time.
The system offers a full range of receiving devices, which allows every zone of the facility to be covered optimally. The offer includes clocks in indoor and outdoor, single-sided and double-sided versions, with dial diameters of 400 mm and 600 mm, as well as monumental tower clocks with a diameter of 1800 mm. All outdoor devices are enclosed in lightweight aluminium housings, which guarantee many years of durability and full resistance to extreme weather factors. A key advantage of the system is the uncompromising legibility of the data presented. The specially designed geometry of the hands, the clear dial layout and the optional, intelligent LED backlighting with a colour temperature of 6500 K (controlled by a light-intensity sensor) provide excellent visibility of the readings — both in full, direct sunlight on platforms and deep inside underground station passages.
An additional deployment convenience is the use of PoE (Power over Ethernet) technology, thanks to which the clocks are powered and controlled with a single network cable, which drastically shortens installation time and lowers infrastructure costs. The system also enables the immediate, fully automatic change between summer and winter time in less than 10 seconds.
